Why Lie? is Aliza Simons (voice, euphonium, synth, ukulele, etc) and Dave Ruder (voice, guitar, clarinet, etc). They first performed together in Summer 2010, released The Cities Who Walk in Spring 2011, and released Osoitos in Summer 2014. Why Lie? features a rotating cast of NYC's finest as guest players live. Both Simons & Ruder are members of the group Varispeed.
